The poem was perfect, as I am sure that I will meet her again<span style="font-size: small;">. </span></span></span></i></span><br />

Penny Lane Prenzi - August 21, 2006 - May 5, 2016</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
I am heartbroken. A week ago Thursday, I had to have Penny Lane put to sleep. She was going to be 10 years old on August 21st. Born on my mother's birthday, I felt she was a gift from my mom who had passed away when I was only 21. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaEBNYFJYk6c6zPbtZLdb6p2DN7JfrCMr69p66CqzOTxD68C3EYETiKyNGfQRq2Wl8hzHYuVDfFLkNmrQuvZY0b9oqZO37Hl1QK94vZ4lhwupynhD61GZtsyVhUxYJPIF0pqKT3QT6bIh0/s1600/8595729476_a4e0aa5608_m.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaEBNYFJYk6c6zPbtZLdb6p2DN7JfrCMr69p66CqzOTxD68C3EYETiKyNGfQRq2Wl8hzHYuVDfFLkNmrQuvZY0b9oqZO37Hl1QK94vZ4lhwupynhD61GZtsyVhUxYJPIF0pqKT3QT6bIh0/s640/8595729476_a4e0aa5608_m.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
<br />
Penny had given me so much joy with her every day antics. She loved going out in the back yard and chase the wild bunnies that seemed to love it as much as she did. Our yard has so much wildlife. We have possums, skunks, loads of birds and squirrels and of course the bunnies. The squirrels would taunt her from the fence and rooftop. They would chatter and run back and forth giving Penny quite a work-out from the ground. <br />
<br />
Her favorite thing to do was lay on top of the chair in the living room where she had the perfect view of the front yard and all the people with their dogs walking by. She would announce their presence with loud barks then run to the front door just in case they dare step foot in the yard. <br />
<br />
How she loved her toys. The first thing she would do with a new toy is take the squeaker and all of the filling out leaving nothing but a flat piece of cloth which hardly resembled a toy at all. She did have some stuffed toys that didn't come with squeakers that I would find in the toy isle. She would look so funny as she carted them around the house as they would hide most of her face. She always had to have a toy in her mouth. If anyone came to visit she would run around the house to find a toy so she could greet them and how she did this was beyond me. She would bark or trumpet with the toy in her mouth and it wouldn't fall out. She was extremely talented!!!<br />
<br />
She was the ultimate lap dog. I loved it so much when she would climb up onto my lap and curl herself into a little ball and go to sleep. She loved giving kisses, going for walks and especially loved her snacks, whether it was those tiny carrots or her biscuits. She was ready for a snack anytime of the day or night. Sometimes she was stubborn about coming in from the backyard and I would have to bribe with a snack and it always worked. <br />
<br />
Penny Lane was a beautiful little dog. Her personality was the cutest.
From the way she would cock her little head trying to understand every
thing I would say to singing along with you whenever we sang happy
birthday.<br />
<br />
I truly expected to have many more years with her than I did. Her heart was weak and all the medication and doctors that she had during the final weeks of her life couldn't help her. She will always have a special place in my heart. <br />

I have so many wonderful pieces that I have created that I thought it would be a great idea to put them on canvas. I love the 3D effect that I have gotten with these. This first one really made me laugh when I got the idea. The whale doesn't seem very happy with his passenger and the poor bird is doing everything she can to stay atop for the ride. </div>

<br />
This is one of my very favorites. The lion cub is going cross eyed looking at this huge butterfly. I love working with decorative papers and paint. The background has many colors giving it a mottled look. I love the greens and browns and I added a bit of orange to the background as well.<br />

I love the rich color and how my finished creations look whether I have put a shiny finish on them or not. I buy the large boxes of this clay at Michaels, but only if I have a coupon for the discount. Here are some that I have made using this wonderful clay.<br />

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is my newest creation.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I love dressing up these art mannequins. It reminds me of when I was a little girl dressing up my dolls. I would spend hours upon hours fussing with them. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
One of my dolls was a Toni doll, so I could not only dress her up, but I could fix her hair as well. You should have seen some of the styles I came up with. (LOL)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For this doll, I found the perfect size and color butterfly wings at Hobby Lobby, then went about creating her dress out of matching color felt and added silk flowers for a bit of glamour. Her hair is fashioned out of polymer clay, as are the tiny roses that match her dress. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It amazes me what can be done with an art mannequin.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; color: #666666; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font: inherit; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: -webkit-auto; vertical-align: baseline;">
If you haven't seen Guido Daniele's Handimals, you are in for a treat. </div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; color: #666666; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font: inherit; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: -webkit-auto; vertical-align: baseline;">
Guido Daniele is an award-winning artist from Soverato, Italy. Born in 1950, Daniele lives and works in Milan. Over his 40+ year career, Guido has done both commercial/advertising work as well as group and solo exhibitions around the world.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; color: #666666; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font: inherit; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: -webkit-auto; vertical-align: baseline;">
In 1990 he began to explore and experiment with body and hand painting. By having his models contort their body into specific positions, he could use his painting skills to create incredibly realistic portraits and scenes onto a living canvas. The inclusion of the human body added a new element to his work and Guido would continue to explore this new direction.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; border: 0px; color: #666666; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font: inherit; line-height: 25px; padding: 0px 0px 10px; text-align: -webkit-auto; vertical-align: baseline;">
In 2000 he created his world-renowned ‘<em style="border: 0px; font: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: baseline;">Handimals</em>‘ series (<a href="http://www.guidodaniele.com/?page_id=7" style="-webkit-transition: background 0.25s, color 0.25s; border-bottom-color: rgb(221, 221, 221); border-bottom-style: dotted; border-width: 0px 0px 1px; color: #00a8c6; font: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">advertising</a> | <a href="http://www.guidodaniele.com/?page_id=8" style="-webkit-transition: background 0.25s, color 0.25s; border-bottom-color: rgb(221, 221, 221); border-bottom-style: dotted; border-width: 0px 0px 1px; color: #00a8c6; font: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">art</a>) that saw him paint highly detailed and realistic animals onto hands in various positions. Through manipulation and creativity, Guido masterfully takes the same starting ‘canvas’ and is able to transform it into seemingly any animal he desires. The outcomes are truly amazing.</div>

I am a huge fan of picmonkey, a fabulous photo editing program that I discovered a while ago. It has all kinds of wonderful editing features that will make your photo's so much nicer. You will love discovering all the different elements and the fun embellishments that you will enjoy with each click of the mouse. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CfKofP8GsGw/UeCoZRwstmI/AAAAAAAAEqc/xt2sT-juh0Y/s1600/P1310030.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-CfKofP8GsGw/UeCoZRwstmI/AAAAAAAAEqc/xt2sT-juh0Y/s400/P1310030.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used plain pink paper for the background, propped up against a cereal box.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5YF-Kg6od_U/UeCobSiTCiI/AAAAAAAAEqk/ZKXj1jAi96o/s1600/B2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5YF-Kg6od_U/UeCobSiTCiI/AAAAAAAAEqk/ZKXj1jAi96o/s400/B2.jpg" width="295" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My next step was cloning the pink to fill in the picture.</div>
<span style="text-align: center;"> </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2lYxolXhvf0/UeCoieWxRVI/AAAAAAAAErU/oEvWhAocXNE/s1600/B7.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-2lYxolXhvf0/UeCoieWxRVI/AAAAAAAAErU/oEvWhAocXNE/s400/B7.jpg" width="295" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="text-align: center;"> I love this background, I use it for so many of my pictures. It does change the background color, but I really think it looks great. As you can see, I also added my name to the bottom.</span><br />
<span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-YgyyBYRd4YY/UeC00982_2I/AAAAAAAAErk/OW8njKrFRpE/s1600/B10.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-YgyyBYRd4YY/UeC00982_2I/AAAAAAAAErk/OW8njKrFRpE/s400/B10.jpg" width="295" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I love the dark edges of this one.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgG3OSnGKUZD-cetZ3mlI78C08H5nQ-Y66Q8kPajiymS6e8o19y5kog-StIbsrm9jo6yZCdW_Fj2CaHAgrUvFj2ldETJeQQSwG518168xvPrR38JKGJyzcBkMVBjKSgiOr-zIZC565Kd9sD/s1600/B11.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgG3OSnGKUZD-cetZ3mlI78C08H5nQ-Y66Q8kPajiymS6e8o19y5kog-StIbsrm9jo6yZCdW_Fj2CaHAgrUvFj2ldETJeQQSwG518168xvPrR38JKGJyzcBkMVBjKSgiOr-zIZC565Kd9sD/s400/B11.jpg" width="295" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Sometimes the white is really neat to use. it gives kind of a foggy appearance.<br />
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<span style="text-align: center;"> You can frame your pictures if you like. There are so many great frames </span><br />
<span style="text-align: center;"> to choose from.</span><br />
<span style="text-align: center;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have been having so much fun dressing up these artist's mannequins. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
I loved the idea of creating a ballerina. I used polymer clay for her hair and ribbon for her bodice and tutu. I painted her shoes, added pearl beads to the bodice and a braided hairpiece to complete her.</div>

I have come to the realization that the old adage "It's a Dogs Life" is true.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-S5Y7GrL-MoQ/UV5TO_W8-wI/AAAAAAAAEhQ/uk1t88YmMfY/s1600/Dog.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="302" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-S5Y7GrL-MoQ/UV5TO_W8-wI/AAAAAAAAEhQ/uk1t88YmMfY/s400/Dog.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
My little dog who will be seven this year is such a great friend, but she is quite lazy. She has several places in the house where she likes to nap, but she loves the pillow back chair in the living room the best and I can find her there most of the day. If she's feeling peppy, she will lay on the arm of the couch, where she has a good view of the outside world and wait for something or someone to walk by. She barks at the squirrels and the birds in the tree and tells me in no uncertain terms if someone is near the house. She will run from window to window and to the front door all the while growling and barking as if to say. "I'M DANGEROUS, SO DON'T YOU TRY TO GET IN". She feels that it is her doggly duty to inform me of anything that comes within five feet of the house.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXHSSDYfplOrH3vc521pTajfUILbdJGEMvY08hLEkGFrMyA7eVdK6URxJ0v1SKbYIzhijWzGMduBYMFI_6IBtl-uKSw5JD3nS64mvRLqY1aXoiwa8jY-8jcjL9qVrZttRw-il2oJ5ppvEE/s1600/8595729476_a4e0aa5608_m.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXHSSDYfplOrH3vc521pTajfUILbdJGEMvY08hLEkGFrMyA7eVdK6URxJ0v1SKbYIzhijWzGMduBYMFI_6IBtl-uKSw5JD3nS64mvRLqY1aXoiwa8jY-8jcjL9qVrZttRw-il2oJ5ppvEE/s400/8595729476_a4e0aa5608_m.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Her name is Penny Lane and she is three quarters Maltese and a quarter Yorkshire Terrier. She is spoiled rotten of course. She has loads of toys. She loves those soft toys with a squeakier in them, but as soon as she gets one she works very diligently to remove it, so needless to say, there is stuffing all over the room until she finally succeeds. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I bring Penny to the groomers only once a year, because she has a terrier coat, it doesn't tangle and is easy to manage. I had her groomed last week and she looked so darn cute that I just had to take her picture.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The phrase <i>"It's a Dog's Life"</i> use to suggest the need to accept the existential fact that things are hard, but now the idea is that dogs have it easy, and so <i>"It's a Dog's Life"</i> equates to 'how cushy'!<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, CenturySchoolbookL, 'URW Bookman L', serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 18px; text-align: left;"> </span></div>

I had so much fun making these mini canvases into little works of art. I bought the 3" by 3" canvases, which come six to a pack, and the easels, which come four to a pack, at Michaels. Of course using my forty percent off coupons really made them a bargain. I used acrylic paints to paint each canvas, then created each scene with polymer clay. </div>

</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: left;">As you can see, I have been quite busy in my craft room. </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBHhgcvGhQ32XrVlgIkIwdbNaRtxWv3GTyrvLLq0z_qS6g_WXsDimowsJyVGh4fd3mjYVwZJEBWFSkXyCP7U5sPIZcJ72w68wCCnYJGM0lFRP7pKWOQWu3BwWqS6MCYXVcjXsB9ma3r4p2/s1600/hum+bird.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBHhgcvGhQ32XrVlgIkIwdbNaRtxWv3GTyrvLLq0z_qS6g_WXsDimowsJyVGh4fd3mjYVwZJEBWFSkXyCP7U5sPIZcJ72w68wCCnYJGM0lFRP7pKWOQWu3BwWqS6MCYXVcjXsB9ma3r4p2/s320/hum+bird.jpg" width="303" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
A dear friend of mine asked if I could create a hummingbird. Well, here is my first attempt at making one. I added a bit of sparkle to his wings and tail feathers.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SU7C3Cjez_M/URQGkQBcY-I/AAAAAAAAESw/EOj0AUa6ob4/s1600/tp+dress.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-SU7C3Cjez_M/URQGkQBcY-I/AAAAAAAAESw/EOj0AUa6ob4/s400/tp+dress.jpg" width="327" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I love paper dresses! I made this one out of card stock (which I embossed) crepe paper, satin ribbon and a satin bow. I mounted it on a 5"x7" canvas which I painted pink and personalized it with my daughter's name. I have this one for sale in my <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/WhimsyKreations">Whimsy Kreations Shop</a>.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<span style="text-align: center;">I created this little scene on a 6"x6" canvas which I </span><span style="text-align: center;">painted </span><span style="text-align: center;">a copper color. I spritzed Glimmer Mist over a stencil to give it a pattern then</span><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: 14px; line-height: 16px;"> </span></span><span style="text-align: center;">added my embellishments. I used polymer clay to make the bird who is sitting on twigs that I gathered from my yard. </span><span style="text-align: center;"> I added a flower and the word 'Imagine' to make it complete.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: left;">This is Forest Fred who has been busy gathering wheat for the winter. I found this large acorn cap at the Dallas Arboritum a while ago and </span><span style="text-align: left;">realized that it fit Fred's head perfectly. I created him out of polymer clay and gave him black beads for eyes.</span></div>
