Hello and Welcome to my Blog ~ I love art of all kinds. Two of my favorites are polymer clay and paper art. I have shops on Etsy that feature both of my passions. I also love writing my blog and finding artists that have a passion for their craft and feature them. I hope your day is filled with sunshine, laughter and loads of creativity.

A Floral Affair

I would like to introduce you to a fabulous artist.  Her name is Suzanne Philip
and she has a wonderful shop on Etsy called A Floral Affair

In the Artist's own words

♥ Arts and crafts have been my life's passion and I continue to enjoy each and every creative minute. I moved to Florida in 1987 and dedicated the majority of my time to painting flora and fauna in watercolors, acrylics and oils. Since 1993, however, I have been creating one-of-a-kind, original, unique home decor, using an air-drying artist clay and technique which I developed thereby enabling me to continue painting but in three-dimensional form. It is quite an extensive process, however, the beauty of each completed piece makes it all worthwhile. My artwork may be found throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia and is showcased in several Florida gift shops.

I love the soft colors that Suzanne uses and her attention to detail is amazing.

Sandy's Bangles and Bows

I am pleased to announce the opening of my new shop on Etsy.

I have always loved seeing little girls wearing pretty bows and headbands ~ It doesn't matter if they are in their play clothes or all dressed up for a special occasion, a bow just seems to give that outfit an extra pizzaz.

As most of you know, I love working with polymer clay.  I thought it would be fun to incorporate it into some of my creations.

I Love the color of this Daisy ~ I created a polymer clay center to accent it, which has been stamped with one of my favorite stamps. Then I gave it a slight brushing with Gold Pearl ~ X paint. I chose a headband that is the same orange color as the flower to complete the design.

There a little puppy peeking out of the silk flower on this bright red headband. The puppy was created out of polymer clay and has glass beads for his bright little eyes. A chiffon bow with a crystal center decorates this already darling headband, a delight for any little girl.

I always loved Ladybugs ~ so cute with their polka dot wings. This Ladybug found the perfect home nestled into a black and white Gingham bow. The headband is very soft and stretchy and will not leave marks on your little one's head. Great for everyday wear or for special occasions.

Burlap, yoyo bow and a button, such a delightful combination. This brown and cream colored bow with green and orange accents measures approximately four inches in diameter and has an alligator clip attached to the back.

This hair bow has a vintage appeal. The muted colors and the touch of lace add to the beauty of this bow.  It is four inches wide has been embellished with a beautiful golden heart. An alligator clip is attached to the back of the bow.

A deep brown crocheted headband is adorned with a plethora of beautiful earth tone colors. The white rose which is accented by a black and gold button is centered amidst the colors making this headband quite beautiful. The bow measures approximately 5" wide by 3" deep.

I do hope you will visit my new shop ~ I am adding new bows and headbands every day and plan on adding a lot more polymer clay accents.

Polymer Clay Wedding Bouquets

I came across these Gorgeous Wedding Bouquets and wanted to share them with you.

They have been created out of polymer clay and are a wonderful alternative to fresh flowers.  I love the idea of having your bouquet as a keepsake for years to come.
