Unique Wedding Bouquet Alternative

Patti Sundik of Love Paris Studio has come up with an awesome and truly unique idea for an alternative  wedding bouquet.  These beautiful hand held mirrors have been embellished with vintage jewelry, buttons and beads to make them truly one of a kind.

She will create a personalized mirror for you by using your vintage items, or create a mirror in the color scheme of your choice. With your treasures, the mirror will become a cherished family heirloom.

Each mirror comes beautifully gifted in a black box with a soft chiffon "pillow" insert and has a clear view cover. The presentation is in keeping with the luxurious art inside

Upon request Patti will enclose a gift card for the recipient. The card s a small photo note card with part of the mirror's design on the front.

In addition, Patti has designed bouquets to coordinate beautifully with her mirrors. This particular bouquet was designed to coordinate perfectly with her peach blossom mirror. (below)
A totally new and unique concept for your wedding.  The mirror handle becomes the bouquet handle.  It is easily attached to the mirror with a golden ribbon cord.

Patti also creates these wonderful Wedding Lockets. The front picture features the bride and groom. The back of the locket features your bridal bouquet  with names and date of the wedding.

The Creation Of A Paper Doll

First of all, I had to come up with an idea. I came up with this particular creation after ordering curly wool from a marvelous shop on Etsy called Dream Fiber.  As soon as I saw it, I thought what lovely hair this would make.

Then I cut out all the pieces to make my creation, making sure
I had the right beads for the eyes.

I liked the idea of a little girl with her puppy and creating
an old fashioned look to her.

Oh, I think that's a little puppy peeking around her skirt.

The faces are coming together now as I  carefully place each piece.

How fun it is seeing it all come together.  I will have this creation in my Whimsy Kreations shop on Etsy at the end of next week.  I do hope you will stop by and see her.

Whimsical Paper Art Houses

These are just two of the whimsical houses I created for my Etsy Shop.  I love working with paper and coming up with different ideas.  Right now I am working on some clowns which I will post when I have them completed.  I sell them as prints of my original artwork.

Willow Willowbee resides with her parents at 203 Swallowbee Lane. She loves running through the fields and gathering flowers. She also loves visiting Mary Belle Buttons and her three kitties.

202 Swallowbee Lane is inhabited by non - other than the Mayor of the village of Alvarie. He loved the sunny cottages on the beach and decided to build one here on Swallowbee Lane. He even planted a palm tree to give it that perfect beachy look

Paper Beauty

Not too long ago, I was at a resort called the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine Texas. I was awestruck by this beautiful work of art.  The backdrop is a water fall and this magnificient creation was posed so casually in the forefront.  It was created out of paper over a wire armature.  The  colors that were used on this sculpture lend itself beautifully to the mosaic background.

A Floral Affair

I would like to introduce you to a fabulous artist.  Her name is Suzanne Philip
and she has a wonderful shop on Etsy called A Floral Affair

In the Artist's own words

♥ Arts and crafts have been my life's passion and I continue to enjoy each and every creative minute. I moved to Florida in 1987 and dedicated the majority of my time to painting flora and fauna in watercolors, acrylics and oils. Since 1993, however, I have been creating one-of-a-kind, original, unique home decor, using an air-drying artist clay and technique which I developed thereby enabling me to continue painting but in three-dimensional form. It is quite an extensive process, however, the beauty of each completed piece makes it all worthwhile. My artwork may be found throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia and is showcased in several Florida gift shops.

I love the soft colors that Suzanne uses and her attention to detail is amazing.
