Wooden Fairy Door ~ by Trina's Clay Creations

A sweet wooden Fairy Door. A little portal into the world of make believe, where anything is possible and everything is sprinkled with sunshine and fairy dust! The door is surrounded with roses and green vines. There are stones around the steps. The whole piece was made entirely of polymer clay, mica powders were used to enhance and deepen the colors, and make it look as if it's been sprinkled with fairy dust.

Faux Wood

Angela made this pincushion by covering a recycled tin can base with polymer clay. The faux zebrawood was inspired by Carol Blackburn's wood lesson. The matching button was created using a button mold made from Amazing Mold Putty. She used cross stitch fabric for the cushion portion.

Tina said she could think of a longer name for her West Coast inspired Pebbles, but Polymer Clay in the title is a long word in it self.

She prefers creating pebbles with a range of colour like the ones she finds on the beaches where she lives.

Betty Jo's interests have always been knitting, crocheting and other forms of needlework. Then about 3 years ago she discovered polymer clay. Now both Heather and Betty Jo are hand crafting pieces from Polymer Clay. This is an exciting medium with endless possibilities.

Using texture sheets, Betty Jo made this mixed media brooch. She mixed Kato blue and silver polymer clay to get the pretty blue color, stamped it, gathered it up and decorated it with small silver and lapis beads around a rhinestone component from a vintage earring.
