Hello and Welcome to my Blog ~ I love art of all kinds. Two of my favorites are polymer clay and paper art. I have shops on Etsy that feature both of my passions. I also love writing my blog and finding artists that have a passion for their craft and feature them. I hope your day is filled with sunshine, laughter and loads of creativity.

Polymer Clay Bookworm

I want to introduce you to my newest
polymer clay creation
~ Ima Bookworm ~

Ima has on her very best hat and is ready to read her favorite book. 'Down The Wormhole' by U.R. Wiggley.  This book, by the way, is on the top ten reading list in the nation.

Did you know that Bookworms are very smart. With all the words that they ingest, their IQ is well above average.

~*~*~*~*~*~

I have also been working on creating some pendants.  I especially like this one because it was so simple to make.

I stamped the polymer clay with a simple flower rubber stamp, making sure it was one that had deep impressions. I then painted in the outline with turquoise Pearl X paint.

I have learned how to make ribbon necklaces, which I found pretty simple to do. It's just a matter of crimping the ends and adding the split rings and lobster claw clasp.  What I love about creating your own is that you can match the pendant perfectly with the ribbon.

Please stop by my new website, where I have combined my Polymer Clay Creations and my Bangles and Bows.   You will find it at:

Thank you Trina and Beej for the wonderful compliment. Ima is sure to blush as she is extremely shy, but she sure does love a compliment.

Ima Bookworm is so cute and I love the way you made the eyeglasses and the elegantly textured 'Down The Wormhole' by U.R. Wiggley'. Your post texts are always so creative fun to read. I also like your dusty pink and turquoise pendant with the elegant ribbon that sets it off beautifully.
