Hello and Welcome to my Blog ~ I love art of all kinds. Two of my favorites are polymer clay and paper art. I have shops on Etsy that feature both of my passions. I also love writing my blog and finding artists that have a passion for their craft and feature them. I hope your day is filled with sunshine, laughter and loads of creativity.

Polymer Clay Bookworm

I want to introduce you to my newest
polymer clay creation
~ Ima Bookworm ~

Ima has on her very best hat and is ready to read her favorite book. 'Down The Wormhole' by U.R. Wiggley.  This book, by the way, is on the top ten reading list in the nation.

Did you know that Bookworms are very smart. With all the words that they ingest, their IQ is well above average.

I have also been working on creating some pendants.  I especially like this one because it was so simple to make.

I stamped the polymer clay with a simple flower rubber stamp, making sure it was one that had deep impressions. I then painted in the outline with turquoise Pearl X paint.

I have learned how to make ribbon necklaces, which I found pretty simple to do. It's just a matter of crimping the ends and adding the split rings and lobster claw clasp.  What I love about creating your own is that you can match the pendant perfectly with the ribbon.

Please stop by my new website, where I have combined my Polymer Clay Creations and my Bangles and Bows.   You will find it at:

Bows, Headbands, Hats and Totes

These are just a few of the new items that I have been
creating for my Etsy Shop.

There is a tiny Fawn in the center of this brown and pink bow. She is wearing a flower and looking so sweet. The bow measures approximately 4.5 inches wide by 3 inches tall and is detachable from the headband by a ribbon covered alligator clip. The headband is soft and stretchy which makes it very comfortable to wear.

Looking for something elegant.  This pretty flower of tulle and lace is attached to a soft cream colored headband. The little pink flower that adorns the center has a beautiful pearl button which gives it a glamourous appeal. The flower detaches from the headband by a ribbon lined alligator clip so it can be worn separately.

~*~*~*~*~*~

Such a pretty little hat would look adorable for that first photo shoot. The flower is almost as big as this pretty little crocheted knit hat. The flower has been embellished with a beautiful pink jewel and has a ribbon covered alligator clip that can be removed from the hat and used as a hair clip.

What little girl wouldn't love having this little tote bag. A pink and blue flower overlooks this happy little bear appliquéd tote. What a cute mini purse this is, It's perfect for carrying around all those little items. This tote measures 5" long by 4" wide.

Stop by my shop and see what else is new.

Trina's Clay Creations

I am so proud of my Daughter's polymer clay creations.

This is just one of her AWESOME CAKE TOPPERS that she has created.  Her work is amazing.   Take a moment to visit her shop at:  http://www.etsy.com/shop/trinasclaycreations

From the Artist:
This little cake topper was such fun to create!  I made a pumpkin carriage in orange and silver, adding vines, leaves and a darling oval door with a round window.  The two mice are sitting in the grass in front of the carriage, each holding a glass of wine and toasting each other.  She's dressed in red, he's in blue and both have great big eyes, making theirfaces so darling.  The topper is approximately 2" tall and sits on a 2 1/2" base.  Made as a custom order for an awesome customer of mine, I will be listing it in my Etsy shop (Trina's Clay Creations) as an example of a topper I can customize as a special gift and/or cake topper.
