I have so many wonderful pieces that I have created that I thought it would be a great idea to put them on canvas. I love the 3D effect that I have gotten with these. This first one really made me laugh when I got the idea. The whale doesn't seem very happy with his passenger and the poor bird is doing everything she can to stay atop for the ride.
This is one of my very favorites. The lion cub is going cross eyed looking at this huge butterfly. I love working with decorative papers and paint. The background has many colors giving it a mottled look. I love the greens and browns and I added a bit of orange to the background as well.
I did not paint the canvas on this one, but I did add some tissue paper to give it some pizzazz!!
I love the Mama and Baby Elephant. Their sweet expressions says it all.
